AGM Notice

We would like to hereby give notice of the ASCP’s Annual General Meeting, which will be held during this year’s annual conference. The AGM will involve a vote on further changes to the ASCP constitution, as well as the election of several positions on the Executive Committee.
Please note that you must be a member of the ASCP in order to vote at the AGM and nominate yourself for a position. Membership is included in conference registration. If you are not able to attend the 2023 conference but would still like to participate in the AGM, you can also renew your membership separately here: https://www.ascp.org.au/membership/membership-form
1. Details of the AGM
The AGM will be held at 1PM AEDT in the Eastern Avenue Auditorium/LT315 of the University of Sydney’s Camperdown campus, as well as online via Zoom.
The Zoom link and Agenda will be distributed closer to the time of the conference. If you would like to propose an item for inclusion on the Agenda, please send your suggestion to This email address is being protected from spambots. 2. Changes to the constitution
At the AGM, you will be asked to vote on further updates to the ASCP constitution; they largely affect two of the positions on the Executive Committee. You can find an executive summary of these changes, as well as the proposed new version of the Constitution, here:
3. Call for nominations of executive positions
We are calling for nominations for the following positions on the Executive Committee, which will become vacant at the AGM:
- Chair
- Deputy Chair
- Treasurer
- Secretary
Descriptions of these positions are available in the Constitution (see above).
In order to nominate yourself, you must provide a short statement outlining why you want to be part of the executive, as well as your CV.
