Papers
A participant can present only one paper.
The paper abstracts will be assessed for suitability to be included in the programme.
All delegates will receive a total of 30 minutes, that is, 20 minutes to present their paper and 10 minutes for Q&A.
Thematic Panels
The ASCP welcomes panel proposals on themes of interest to our members.
The organizer of the panel has to submit a short description of the panel as well as the names of the scholars participating.
All speakers in the panel have to submit an individual paper proposal where they indicate the panel they are participating in.
Book Panels
The books discussed in these panels are usually published within the last three years.
The organizer of the panel needs to submit a proposal that includes the names and emails of the commentators, usually two or three. A commentator for a book panel is allowed also to present a paper.
The author of the book has to be present to respond to the commentaries.
Streams
The ASCP welcomes proposals of streams of panels on themes of interest to our members.
The organizer of the stream has to submit a short description of the stream as well as the names of the scholars participating, as well as the distribution of the papers in specific panels.
All speakers in the stream have to submit an individual paper proposal where they indicate the stream and panel they are participating in.
Online Stream Option
The conference will be in-person. To support scholars who cannot present in person for health reasons or carer responsibilities, we are offering limited online places. These will be part of one stream with a dedicated room at the conference so that present participants can attend. The keynote addresses will also be available to scholars who have registered for online participation. Please indicate whether you want to the online option when you submit your paper. Note that there are limited places, so the ASCP may be not be able to accommodate all requests.
Scheduling with Parellel Conferences
If there are scheduling conflicts due to parallel conferences, please get in touch with the organising committee; we will try to accommodate your scheduling needs to the best of our ability.
