Join us in Perth for the ASFS 2018 Conference 5-7 December to be hosted by the University of Western Australia


Confirmed Keynote Speakers:

  • Rodney Saint-Eloi, Haitian writer and publisher
  • Nadine Gassie, translator of the works of Tim Winton and David Malouf
  • Professor Mary Orr, Buchanan Chair of French, University of St Andrews


Organising Committee: Paul Gibbard, Hélène Jaccomard, Sabine Kuuse, Bonnie Thomas (University of Western Australia), Céline Doucet (Edith Cowan University), Sophie Patrick (University of New England)

Venue: The conference will take place in the Arts Building, centrally situated in the picturesque campus of the University of Western Australia on the Swan river. From there it is easy access to the City centre, ocean, Swan valley, wineries…

Registration: TBA. Early-bird registration will close on 5 September with full registration beginning on 6 September.
